What changed
Cross + Cross used to open Playoff. Now Cross + Cross is a Match — same as Heart + Heart.
The product got simpler: same signal matches, opposite signal means convince.
Where curiosity goes now
When one person Hearts and the other Crosses, Convincing opens — one high-signal chance to earn the match.
That keeps the spirit of earning chemistry without a multi-round board for every mutual maybe.

Chat after a Match can still be playful. The swipe matrix just stopped requiring rounds before you can talk.
